“Good Shepherd, you have purchased us for yourself. All we have is from you. All we need is in you. You feed us, restore our souls, and lead us with your Word. May we feed our souls on the feast of your Word and not be distracted by temporal information and arguments. May we come to the eternal Word for nourishment, restoration, and direction. Most importantly may we come to your Word to see you and may our hearts find satisfaction in you alone. May we seek your direction for your glory, realizing your glory is all that truly matters. Teach us that our ultimate good is found in what glorifies you. Amen.” (Psalm 23:1-3; Luke 24:44-48; Romans 8:28-29)
