When did their hearts burn? They had just seen the risen Lord Jesus. Did their hearts burn when they saw him? No, they were blinded to who he way until right before he vanished. Did their hearts burn when he broke bread? No, although that was when they were made to recognize him.
When did their hearts burn? While Christ talked to them. While he opened the Scriptures to them.
