Peter’s Greeting – A Poem

Peter writes on Christ’s behalf,

An apostle by Jesus’ call;

To exiles of God’s own choosing,

He foreknew and loved you all.

To obey our Lord Jesus Christ

The Spirit set you apart,

And to be sprinkled with His blood,

For you are close to God’s heart.

May grace ever increase to you,

In the fullest measure flow;

And may the peace of God extend,

So harmony with Him you’ll know.
