The following is slightly adapted from the January 16, 2022 sermon at Pioneer Bible Church. This is the first in a series on Ephesians.

Overview of Ephesians

  • Divided into Two Sections – Chapters 1-3 and Chapters 4-6
  • Connected by Ephesians 4:1 (HINGE) –  “I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called…” (ESV)
  • Chapters 1-3 = The Saint’s Calling (Position in Christ)
  • Chapters 4-6 = The Matching Walk (Appropriate Practice in Christ)

I. The Saint’s Calling in Christ
